Koala silver coins have an edge bar and a riffle rim. With the edge bar coins get better stability and stackability, as it is a little higher and thus reinforces the coin.

On the motif side, an adult koala can be seen on a branch of a flowering eucalyptus tree.

To the left of ​​the motif is the letter "P", standing for Perth Mint. At the bottom left, imprinted on the branch, you will find the initials "NM" for the designer of the motif Natasha Muhl.

Stamped along the top outer edge is the name of the coin series "AUSTRALIAN KOALA". The lower margin shows the year of publication "2018", the fine weight "1 KILO", the fineness "9999" and the precious metal "SILVER".
